Psychosocial outcomes and readiness for transition in adolescent and young adult patients with JIA

BANNAR have supported this pilot study exploring whether anxiety, depression, social support and health-related quality of life affect readiness to transition in adolescents and young people with JIA.

The study aims to identify the clinical profiles and assess the psychosocial outcomes of patients aged 10-25 years diagnosed with JIA. The study is based in Sheffield and is a collaboration between researchers in the paediatric and adult rheumatology services.
